This was an ok cozy, but I liked the characters, even though they all did really stupid things (view spoiler). I liked the columns Hayley wrote but based on what we saw of her life, they seem like lies as I don't see where she had time for all that cooking and drinking (and would be best if the drinking was a lie otherwise she is an alcoholic).

Good cozy to read on a rainy afternoon. Hayley has a public food fight with a rival food columnist and becomes a suspect in her murder. Zany characters, good recipes and excellent cocktails. 3 stars

Didn't like the main character or the majority of her friends. The author was probably trying for wacky, but ended up with stupid, obnoxious and exhausting. Won't continue. ...more
