This was a disappointment. I guess I was expecting a little bit more of a "feel good" book. I had actually had trouble finishing it because it was somewhat of a downer for me. It did pick up near the end. ...more

I received this as a first read. This was a sweet charming book. I enjoyed reading this one. Fair warring I love a lot of magical realism. However this one was one of the pleasant reads. Reminded me some of Sarah Addison Allen. Just a fun read.
