Anita Blake finally has a few days to rest and reconnect with her many men. Flirting and just having fun until she is forced at gunpoint to animate a zombie for a crazy man. The clincher is the heavies are werelions - the only animal that resides inside Anita for which she hasn't found a mate. This makes for an interesting and exciting dilemma. When I picked up the audiobook and saw it was only 4 CDs, I thought certainly there had been a mistake.
Nope, it's that short.
Flirt was a lot of the same stuff from previous books. I feel like Anita has hit a sort of wall with character development and instead has decided to widen her pool of men instead. Honestly, I felt like the only reason for this book, was so Anita could have sex with a new man.
I will say, however, that it was great to see Anita get back to her roots and dabble in necromancy ...more

Wow I'm impressed, she only had sex one time in this book! However, it is pretty short book.
