I couldn't decide between 2 or 3 stars on this one... I'm normally a huge Anita Blake fan, but since this little book didn't have any action...I found it kind of lame. That being said, I got through the audio book in a day while I was running errands... it served as a nice refresher to help me remember where we we're at in the story line so I could move on the the next books; and I just LOVE the reader. So just hearing her voice makes me happy. That being said, I'm basically over the sex scenes ...more

I feel like this book should have been considered a half book or novella rather than book 23. It's very short and the first 100 pages are a conversation. The rest of the book is strait up sex. There isn't anything wrong with sex but I feel like this book didn't really have a plot. There was no action other than the sex. There were no crime scenes and no vampire politics.

I knew there would be lots of sex going in but I just wish that there was more of a plot.

This was a lesbian sexfest that just wasn't my thing. Sex from cover to cover literally. Well except for the first chapter where they talked about having lesbian sex. UGH! ...more
