I liked this better the second time around. I know more about the actual history of the time, so the book was much better for that understanding. I still stand by my statement that it was a little slow when Hannah went to Calais, but I enjoyed the story when she ended up back at Court. A very well-written historical fiction novel.

Finally! Took forever to finish this one but then, I did take breaks with other books.
