Wow, this was unlike anything I've ever read before! And that is high praise in it's own right!
I'm not even really sure what I'm going to write in this review because, to me, there is no explaining what was so amazing about this book - all I can think is that Ms. Thomas has an absurd (in the very good sense of the word) imagination and that she somehow manages to take a quite complex and very odd subject and make it as if it's really no issue to explain.

I really enjoyed the first part of this book, where we discover Ariel's history, her angst over relationships and sex, and her interest in all sorts of things (especially science and philosophy) and the connections between them. However, it quickly got a little over the top.

Interesting concept, I liked the narration on the audio book. It was a bit too long winded in places and I didn't like the insta-love.

It's an interesting and intelligent read. Those interested in telepathy, dimensions, time travel and how we all began will enjoy this book.
