I want to marry (read: have sex with) Atticus and have his Druid babies.

You see, Atticus is my kind of man. He’s smart, well-educated, well-spoken, with a sense of humor, caring, loyal to his friends, irreverent and tough but with enough confidence that he doesn’t have to go around posturing. He also communes with the Earth and is a great cook. What’s not to like? (He’s a redhead and pale but hey, nobody’s perfect.)

I loved this book. It was full of non-stop action and a lot of humor

Fun light read. Very funny in parts and I was very sad in another. Lots of action although not any real mortal danger. Lots of sex and sexual innuendos and the protagonist is turned on by all remotely attractive women but then he is a druid and likes to run around naked. He's a bit self-congratulatory but in a very real and reasonable way: he's been around for 2100 years and has killed a god. This was more fun than I remember the first one being.

Atticus has some demon cleanup left from the last adventure and gets pulled into the witches' problem with another coven. The characters are interesting and Oberon is the greatest. A few gods stop by for a visit. Not super fond of the casual sex (view spoiler)

I really enjoy this series. Atticus is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters. Oberon cracks me up and makes me wish I had a mind meld thing going on with my cats....or maybe not. The references to Leif as a blood sucker (lawyer) and vampire don't get old. Atticus helps Coyote fight a fallen angel, disbands a group of Bacchants and leads the local coven into battle with an evil coven of German witches. Toss in a possible lust triangle with a couple of Celtic goddesses and you have a wond ...more

If you're reading this review, then you've hopefully already read the first book in the series (Hounded), so the gist is basically the same. Atticus has new enemies in this book, as well as dealing with some of the repercussions of his adventures in the first book. Many of the characters are the same, some are new, and some are more thoroughly developed.

I loved this! Second books in a series are so tough, I feel like they're often trying to find their voice. Maybe the conflict is forced as a way

I still maintain that Oberon is one of the BEST characters EVER. I love the story line here, rich history. Loved the book, read it in one sitting.
