Wow that was long!
First I want to mention that I have seen the movie that supposedly goes along with this book but honestly, when I watched the movie I remember not having any idea what was going on except that people were killing themselves and afraid of the wind....
The book however makes a lot more sense and this uncut version definitely held a lot of details about these people on both the Mother side and the Dark Man side. I haven't read the uncut version or anything but I can't imagine all ...more

A deadly virus wipes out most of the population and this story recounts the struggles faced by the survivors. A rather strange, creepy and very long saga and although interesting, some of the weird aspects put me off.
