Re-read this July 26-27, 2016 with my family as we traveled to Forks, La Push, and Port Angeles. My husband enjoyed it but my kids girl-9 and boy-11 didn't but maybe they will try again when they are a little older.

Yes, I know that this book has it's faults. Stephanie Meyer tends to ramble on and Bella can get a bit annoying. But that still doesn't detract from the fact that they are completely unputdownable.

This was recommended to me by my 23 year old son and a 35 year old female friend;so knowing that the book is supposedly written for the teenage market but trusting the recommendations I thought I'd give it a go.I was totally absorbed by the story of Bella and her growing relationships not just with Edward but all of the Cullens. Have since read the whole series - and loved the lot!
