I really enjoyed this book immensely.
It is not a just a fictional retelling of the events of the Wars of the Roses, but a well plotted, highly imaginative story. The supernatural Melusina element was genius and unexpected.
Elizabeth Woodville is depicted as ruthlessly ambitious, and in the main, I liked her. However, the relentlessness of her ambition irritated me by the end.
Highly recommended!
