A few of the stories were a little meh but most were fantastic. My favorites were Quiz Bowl Antichrist by David Levithan (It was HILARIOUS, natch), The Quiet Knight by Garth Nix, Everyone But You by Lisa Yee, Freak the Geek by John Green (NERDFIGHTERS!), This is My Audition Monologue by Sara Zarr *raises fist*, The Stars at the Finish Line by Wendy Mass (ZOMG SO CUTE), and It's Just a Jump to the Left by Libba Bray (RHPS + coming of age = I'm sold).

I was a smidgen disappointed with this compilation of short stories - all my favorite authors were represented and I'm not saying their work wasn't good, it was. I guess I expected the stories to be funnier or more poignant, and they were instead just regular short stories with nerds as key characters.

I had to pace myself so I didn't just gobble it all up. I loved the comics. Sadly, I felt John Green kind of phoned his story in. However, Lyga's Dino Girl was fantastic, and probably my favorite. I loved all the Buffy shout-outs, and Quiz Bowl Antichrist was wonderful. I love it when bookstores have books out before the official release date! Sigh, John Green, you've let me down.
