Set Up:
In an alternative Victorian London within a steam punk setting, this story depicts a society which is very much like it would have been 130 years ago – excluding the steam punk of course. The only difference is that it includes Vampires, Werewolves, and Ghosts as an accepted part of society.

Enjoyable. But... This book didn't jive for me, yet I give the author kudos for doing what she wanted and following through. The story attempts to balance romance with action, conspiracy and steampunk. If you are someone that likes these equally, this would be a book for you. But I felt like the story was abandoned for over 50 pages in the middle of the book to explore paranormal sexuality in an attempt to bring titillation to lonely people reading on a rainy day.
