This is a well-written book and an entertaining read. I did not enjoy it as much as "To Say Nothing of the Dog," but much of the premise is the same: Time travel is tricky. This had some lovely moments, but I felt at points that the pacing was slow. The tension never let up, but I felt Willis gave the reader some very broad hints about the resolution of the book. I've had this book for a really, really long time. The plot synopsis never really interested me, but I wanted to give it a shot before I got rid of it. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. An excellent book. I loved the integration of the plots in the past and present.
