As a murder mystery story, this is really boring. As a speculative fiction about people living in artificial non Earth environment, it was okay.

I liked the mystery, and the sorta Victorian vibe, and the cool worldbuilding with no info dumps but only hanging out with characters in their Jupiter ring habitat. I liked the quiet 2nd chances love story and the images of secret train carriages.

Gender-flipped Sherlock & Watson, but make it queer, on a space colony on Jupiter and with a dash of dark academia! Cozy scones, public transit, will they-won’t they…all a lot of fun!
