I had a hard time following this book. Maybe it was just me, but I found it very confusing . The story jumped back-and-forth in time, which is not unusual, but the characters and who is who and who was supposed to be who, and who you thought was who I found I had to concentrate too much of my time to focus on that rather than just enjoying the story. It was obvious these lives would intersect at one point, but I didn’t find this to be as fun of a read, as I have with Lisa Jewell previous book.

Super creepy, scary how easily someone can work their way into your life. It feels like the big message here is that women so often don’t trust their instincts, want to appear “nice”, or let themselves be won over by a smooth taking man

This was a bit longer than it needed to be, and I found it pretty predictable, but still enjoyed it!
