Une lecture vraiment très sympathique et atypique, tout en douceur !

Le résumé présente vraiment bien le livre, on suis une galerie de personnages tous très différents et à travers la petite nouvelle on apprends à les connaitre et à les comprendre en dépit de leurs grosses différences.

J'ai beaucoup aimé la construction du monde et le background, on voit bien que l'auteur à vraiment bien réfléchis à tout et que cela lui permet de parler de plein de problèmes et surto

This book is really good.

There is an extremely diverse set of characters, there are lots of different sapient species with their own customs, values and mannerisms which are all interesting to read about. Some of the passages from their points of view are particularly thought provoking. Some of their views towards the human race certainly made me think and re-evaluate the way I see certain things.

There are many excellent five star reviews for A Long Way to a Small Angry Planet here already, I cannot really add to what they have written. Just happy to add my stars and to thank those friends here who recommended this to me. I have now recommended it to everyone else I know who enjoys SF because it was such a pleasure to read.

I listened with the audio book and the narrator Rachel Dulude gave all the characters the perfect voices and did a wonderful job. I also got a print copy from the libr

I gave up about 160 pages in. Really wanted to enjoy this because so many trusted friends spoke well about it, but found myself not remotely caring or interested enough at any point. There's nothing wrong with the book that I can point to, I think it's just a matter of taste, and this wasn't for me. ...more
