Brilliant worldbuilding and prose but let down to weak characters and plot.
The prose was good and worldbuilding spectacular! But aside from that, it was a sci-fi travelogue with notes of different people, cultures and interactions over some specific incidents. Scene starts, there is a background on the location, then the people and their cultures and one obligatory incident to demonstrate their own goodness. Rinse and repeat all through.
