Shelves: a-kind-of-magic, hijinks, ya-ish, froth

A child's gambolling trip to fairyland, with the perfect blend of twee, silly, conscious narration and serious undertone. Very fun. Not really serious business.

In the spirit of full disclosure: I formulated a wild theory halfway through based on how the term for those who travel to Fairyland as our heroine does is "Ravished", about all of this being a complicated analogy for September deliquinting in the absence of stern parental figures and being sexually promiscuous.
