[close] This book is really creative and humorous. It is about a fictional country on an island off of North Carolina where they honor/worship Nollop, the guy who created the sentence "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog". In the town they have a statue of him with the famous sentence, but the letter begin to fall off. The government takes this as a message from beyond-the-grave by Nollop, so they bane the letter in speech and writing. The book has an interesting format where it is made up of letters sent to different characters during this troubling time in Nollop.

The book is full of high level vocabulary, which makes it humorous to read and a great book for word lovers. The plot is also very intersting and engaging and its message is very clear and it works in this context. I personally loved it, but if you're not up to a lot of high level vocabulary this book it not for you.
