As a career counselor and academic advisor I found great meaning in this book. There is a hidden message underneath an interesting story, that does require some thought and introspection to tease it out. A great book about finding your path and finding meaning in your life. I did find it to be a little slow in the beginning, but when I was done, I wanted to go back and reread it to squeeze out all the wisdom I can. I reccomend this book.
It was OK, but probably not my type of book. I'm a little disappointed, because I'd read so many good reviews. There were just too many vague philosophies of life- personal legend ideas. I did read both the graphic novel version and this text version, and discovered about myself that I get much more out of text. The graphic novel version in this case was very true to the book.
