This is a great story that revolves around old and new love and the importance of both. I find myself developing a greater appreciation for stories that celebrate relationships of grown-ups, relationships and love that withstand the hardships of every day life. Ira and Ruth are exceptional people, simple yet committed and very much in love. Luke is a strong and reliable young man and I found him to be very relatable. I really enjoyed this story. I like the main characters a lot. I also really liked the two love stories. The end was a little far fetched but still enjoyable.
