[close] The illustrations in this little book were simply breathtaking! I took more time admiring them than actually reading the book :)

The story was fun, and I love reading fairy tales from other countries. Here a young emperor gains a magically robe from his father that harbors the power of a dragon, which he can use to fight his biggest enemies. Tasked with choosing between two women to be his bride, the main morals of the story happen here (<spoiler>one woman has stunning beauty but is cruel to the maids and lies to the emperor; the other less beautiful but beautiful in spirit...guess which one he chooses! </spoiler>). But the writing was a bit simple and I would have liked much more detail in the story to go with the wonderfully detailed illustrations.
