I love Ben Hatke!

In this simple story, a young, friendless girl finds a small, lost robot near her home and they become fast friends. Naturally there is also a big villainous robot out to find Little Robot, and it's up to the little girl to save him! Armed with only a wrench and a lot of imagination, the little girl makes a lot of new friends in the end.

A nearly wordless graphic novel. It vaguely reminds me of The Wild Robot but I think this one was actually published first. A nice friendship story, although I was still left feeling a little sad for the girl. Too bad she didn’t end up making any human friends.
