[close] I absolutely loved the premise of a girl learning to do computer code. The coding was fantastically simplified so kids can pick it up easily, and I loved how the story would pause to let readers figure out the coding puzzles before continuing. It has a great mix of mystery too - the kids are at a school with robot birds and a robot turtle that they are just figuring out how to code. I can't rave enough about how the main character is a girl, but am disappointed that she's the only one - the other main character who is teaching her is a boy, as are the peripheral characters. However, my other complaint was that just when I was getting into it, it ended on a very abrupt cliffhanger! How can I possibly wait for the next installment to come out?!?
