Normally, I am not fan of “novels of manners,” but Ms. Moriarity depicts life in the Australian suburbs with grace and humor. This novel goes beyond describing daily life in Melbourne by examining guilt and life choices while introducing a cast of wholly believable and engaging characters.
This is the first novel I have read by this author, but you can believe I will be going back and giving the others a try.

Great book - page turner. It immediately draws you in and continues to weave an interesting plot among three sets of characters that start to intersect about halfway through - ultimately, ending in an event that involves all of them and also the secrets that are kept by the characters. I would recommend this book.

I figured out a few of the plot twists before they happened and occasionally got a little annoyed with how interconnected all the characters were, but overall, I really liked this book. It was an easy read and I didn't want to put it down.

Liked the book, but didn't like the author ended the novel. Had the feeling of.... Oh, so that's it....
