This was a fun book. I listened to the audio, which made it even more fun as she had special guests come to read certain parts. The last chapter was read live but I didnt really like that part because the people laughed at every single line, even when they weren't really funny lines. That part got on my nerves a bit.

Having read Bossypants and Is Everyone Hanging out without me?, I had fairly low expectations of this book, especially considering that I find Tina Fey and Mindy Kahling funnier. However, I felt like this was a much more cohesive collection of essays and, while it did have a lot of name dropping, it was somehow more earnest. Poehler is a great writer and it makes me more interested in her future projects.

Hilarious and smartly written memoir! I listened to the audio-book read by the author and it was hysterical. A must read for those who are fans of Poehler or who enjoy autobiographies.

Although I didn't love this book, I didn't mind reading / listening to it. Amy Poehler is hilarious, so it was nice to hear her story.
