Not sure if I loved the book because I saw and loved the Jane Seymour and Anthony Andrews made for TV movie first.

This book was great! But the Scarlet Pimpernel would have been better if he was disguised as a cat.

Had to read it when I found out Nora Roberts has a room dedicated to Percy and Marguerite in her new B&B. I usually have trouble getting into classic books, though I eventually enjoy them as a nice slow read. But this one, once I got into it, I couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed it, but the "twist" of Percy being dressed as the Jew was so obvious that I spent the ending just waiting for him to show himself to Marguerite. Thus 4 instead of 5 stars.
