In some ways it was just a repeat of the kind of action in The Hunger Games. However, I do enjoy how the author brings to light the emotional struggles of Catniss. It's a fast read, and keeps the reader's attention. ...more

This took a bit longer to get into. I couldn't keep the characters from the previous games straight until they were actually in the arena. The ending just blew me away though. I had to start reading the third book right away, and wondered how people who read these as they were published managed to wait for the next one. ...more
