MUCH better intro than The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. In general, I thought this novel was better paced, and had a more intriguing plotline. Maybe it's because it focused more on Lisbeth, who I find much more interesting than Bloomqvist, and I liked that Lisbeth's character has undergone some changes since the last time we encountered her. She's much more self-aware and "grown up". I also like that she manages to change while still remaining true to the character she was in the first book.

I really like Lisbeth and Mikael. There aren't stereotypes in this book. Plus Sweden seems so different from the world I see around me. I can't wait to read the 3rd book. This one wasn't as gruesome as the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, luckily. Except for the end...
