What Members Thought
Wait Till Next Year was a charming, nostalgic memoir. Doris Kearns Goodwin's remembrances of school, a sheltered, nurturing home life with supportive parents, friends outdoors, reading good books, and early television were as it was during my elementary school days. The names and enjoyment of Major League Baseball during the 50s reminded me of listening to baseball games on the transistor radio with my dad. Great book!
