I've read previous Weiner books (Good in Bed, In Her Shoes) and Goodnight Nobody just did not live up to the expectations I had for Weiner. It was still an interesting novel and I was invested enough to want to find out the ending but I didn't particularly like any of the characters in this book. The main character, Kate Klein just annoyed me. The ending of the book also left me disappointed. This book reminded me a bit of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. It was not quite as good. Stay at home mom turns detective after a neighbor is murdered. I did like that the murder happened in the first few pages of the book and the murderer is not revealed until the last few pages. Some mysteries reveal things too early and then there really isnt too much of a point to the rest of the book. ...more
