This book was very interesting since the CW series of Vampire Diaries didn't explain well how Stefan and Damon became vampires. Yes of course there were the 5 second flash backs but this book starts from the beginning when Stefan and Damon both fell under Katherine's trance. I like the poetry, diary in-puts, and even how the reader learns a whole lot more of the characters. This book has amazing character development and had me at the end of my seat to see how the founders were planning on prote ...more
