HarperCollins has been extremely gracious to allow me to read an ARC of this novel, through Netgalley, prior to its release in bookstores today, and though I will admit that I was a little bored in the very beginning of the novel, it soon took off and I was glued to the pages. I wasn’t sure where the story was going at first, as it seemed to dwell purely on Kate’s inconsolability in the wake of her parent’s death. So a first I thought wow another Mysterious Vampire Figure... BLAH! But no Revenants!!! AMAZING concept!!! Fell in love with this story line and the characters!!! I must devour Book 2 and quick!!
The insanely cheesy ending just about ruined it for me.
