And now for something completely different. Kagawa does a phenomenal job shifting gears in this fourth, and final, book in the Iron Fey series, telling the story from Ash’s point of view as he struggles to come to terms with what has happened to Meghan. By the completion of this novel, Ash had completely endeared himself to me (about time, right?) and I must say that I think this last book is the best of them all.

I think that Iron Queen was a great ending to the series, however this book was a good addition. We learn more of Ash and Ariella and not just Ash and Ariella but her relationship with Puck and her, herself (view spoiler) . This is Ash's story and his journey he followed for a promise he made to Meghan. It is also a story of friendship, the friendship of Ash and Puck and others. All I have to say is this was a really good ending to a solid series. Kudos to Julie Kagawa because I really went into this thinking I was going to be bored.
