Oh boy, right? This is a fantastic premise. Fifteen years ago, if I'd gotten a peek at my current Facebook page I would be SOO relieved. Also appalled. And really confused. Same with Emma and Josh. In a great exchange, Josh wonders who in their right mind would share so much personal information on the Internet, and Emma answers, "Exactly. I'm going to be mentally ill in fifteen years, and that's why my husband doesn't want to be around me." What is more, they find that the pages change in unexp ...more

It was a good premise, but, really, just musing here, I hoped Emma would hope for more than just finding love. and I thought Josh was a more mature...is that unrealistic too?
anyway, I liked the idea of it and as a romantic, I liked the finding true love part, jus

The Future of Us tells the story of two young friends, Emma and Josh. Together they use Emma’s first computer to explore the world of AOL using a CD-Rom sent in the mail. Little do they know that they are about to discover Facebook and read about what their lives will be like 15 years in the future.

As a person who grew up during the popularity of AOL, cell phones, and Facebook...I found this book to be a bit comical at times which I enjoyed! I also like that it reflected the life of typical hi
