[close] I enjoyed the story of William Marshal, respected knight in the time of Henry II, Henry's sons, and Henry's queen Eleanor of Aquitaine. The storytelling is fluid, and the characters are well-developed. Throughout the novel are constant examples of loyalty and integrity.
