I really enjoyed reading this book. It seemed so far-fetched, but at the same time I could see us figuring out a way to cryogenically freeze people and ship them off to another planet 300 years away from us here on 'sol-Earth' just because we royally screwed up our own planet.

I fought reading this book for a long time. Finally it was one of my only choices to listen in the car. I really enjoyed it. The setting, a generations ship, is very interesting as are the people. The choice to keep the ship functioning constantly tap into the gray areas of morality. Very compelling.

finally finished...took longer than I expected since it started off strong. Actually thought it would be better than it was, meaning it was a little disappointing. It's a good teen read with a sad theme...with a sort of hopelessness to it. I expected more of a survivalist kind of theme but maybe there's a sequel or trilogy in there.
