I decided to read/reread a Josephine Tey book before starting on An Expert in Murder which I saw in the library and which has Tey as a character. I chose The Man in the Queue because I couldn't remember if I had read it before.
The mystery was good. I didn't figure out who the murderer was before it was revealed, but I didn't feel that the author had withheld information to make it impossible. The detective, Inspector Grant, is a British police officer and the balance of footwork and br ...more
