Prior to reading this book, my exposure to the story of Lady Jane Grey was from a movie with Helena Bonham Carter, Cary Elwes, and Patrick Stewart. So to a certain extent I was trying to picture the characters as those actors. But this is a different take on the story, so while I will probably always visualize them that way their actions and characterizations are different.
