I love the Duck Dynasty show on A&E, so when I learned that Phil Robertson, patriarch of the Robertson family and Duck Commander wrote a book, I had to read it. I also had to share it with my dad, who also loves the show but who is not much of a reader. I let him read it first and he read it in one weekend.
I was drawn to this book not only because of the television show but also because of the behind-the-scenes look at the family and how Phil lived growing up and how he got to here he is today.
I found Happy, Happy, Happy fascinating. It was simple, honest, dramatic, funny, and it even moved me to tears in places. Definitely read if you're a fan of the show or of the outdoors and survival.
(Decided to go ahead and write this abbreviated version, but a full version will appear on my blog once I can catch up!)
Rating rounded up from 4.5 because I do not have half ratings.
