What Members Thought
This book was read with a book club and the insightful conversation it sparked lead to a five star rating. I loved the story and the many different characters. At times unsatisfying because stories didn't end how I may have liked, it felt natural and was a good indication of the choices people have to make between wrong and more wrong.

At first it was sort of difficult to get into the fact that the stories kept jumping around but by the end I found myself really interested in each characters distinct stories. I also loved how all the stories were linked together in some way, it was very nicely done. The storytelling was different that Hosseini's usual but still an invigorating and emotional read!

Obviously well-written and magical in some places but I was unable to really "get into it". The stories of each of the characters seemed disjointed from the previous characters. I found myself unable to piece it all together.
