Very easy reading. I was surprised to find that this was the author's first novel. Since it was published by Sourcebooks, I expected the plot to be more romance, but was pleasantly surprised to find that the focus was on a woman taking on bigger responsibilities during WWII, and not just on her romantic aspirations.
