I am not usually one to read books like this one but found that I had a hard time putting it down. I made me cry in many parts and laugh in a few. I did find it hard to read with some of the old scottish terms. This is a really good book
So many people actually like this book that I couldn't believe I was reading the one they were talking about. I actually rechecked this online and by Googling TWICE. Unfortunately, this was the right book.

'Outlander' is sensual, spiritual, and historical escapism. Imagine finding yourself unwittingly transported back in time, two hundred years, to rural Scotland and then coerced into marrying a handsome, hunky young-er Highlander. Despite already having a husband back in the future. Pure cougar fantasy.

I thought this was a good story, but not a keeper for me. I liked the characters, but just wasn't really interested in what was essentially a romance.
