In my opinion 'Pale Demon' is the best yet of Kim Harrison's 'The Hollows' series. It's like the first 8 novels were supplying the readers with an extended back story leading up to 'Pale Demon'. I'm looking forward to the release of 'A Perfect Blood' with high anticipation.

Just an average book for Kim Harrison. If I could split stars, I would give it 2.5.
I was a little disappointed in this book. The author crammed everything into this one story and
most of the action was absolutely sophomoric and silly. I got tired of Rachel italics. Why doesn't she just come out and SAY some of the things she's thinking. It was rather annoying. I liked all the other books up to this one. This was a fast read, but mostly stilly. The whole book could have been condensed somewhat. a ...more
