Hm. Well. Yeah.
Anti- climax is a term which comes to mind, but considering how old the book is, I'd say a pretty amazing read.
I like how Deaver dwells on the lives and problems of the protagonist as much as the killings themselves. For a book based on serial killing, it talks a lot about living life. Or may be that's the very reason.
