"3.5 stars" For quite some time now, I've been seeing rave reviews for Suzanne Brockmann's Troubleshooters series, so I finally decided to pick up The Unsung Hero. Unfortunately, when I finished reading it, I was left with very mixed feelings about nearly every aspect of the book. Rather than being a romance in which there is one primary hero and heroine with secondary characters to support them, it felt like there was an ensemble cast. The book has three separate “love”

This is a weak 4 stars for me because I was expecting better, but from what I’ve heard about the Troubleshooters series it’s the following books that tend to be the best. There’s nothing “wrong” with this story it’s just that it’s nearly all very predictable and the main hero wasn’t as “Navy SEAL” as alphas usually are. When I read this back in 2002-03, I found it surprisingly boring because I had loved T03 - Over the Edge.

Since, in those days, I dutifully read a book from cover to cover even if I wasn't enjoying it, I knew I did find the entire story of The Unsung Hero to be below average compared to the other Troubleshooter books.

I found it as uneventful and bo

I absolutely love Suzanne Brockmann. All her books seem to have 3 story arcs. Story A is the main love story of the book, Story B is a secondary love story that may be finished in the current book or carry on in future books of the series and Story C is usually a WWII story/romance. As you read this series you will come to love all the men of Team Sixteen. Tom, Wildcard, Sam, Jenks, Muldoon, Cosmo.

In this book you are introduced to Tom who is the leader of Team sixteen. The best thing is that on

I had put this one off because I couldn't get as an ebook at any of the libraries and finally caved in. So glad that I did! As a fan of getting to know various characters and their backgrounds throughout a series, I enjoyed this book and I think I'm going to love this series. Fantastic story. ...more
