Intense and action-packed. Suzanne Brockmann still brilliantly breaks all of society's stereotypes from the "bimbo bar bunny" to the arab-with-a-beard-muslim terrorist. She portrays well-developed and very human characters with their share of flaws and virtues that allows a more in depth and personal story. The characters were terrifyingly, awesomely human and evoked conflicting emotions where there were no real "black and white" areas but shades and shades of gray.

A very, very, very well written book! This was my first book by Suzanne Brockmann and I am very excited to start reading the rest of her work! I was captivated from the very first page. I felt emotionally invested in each character, and there were quite a few to keep up with! Would recommend to anyone that liks to read great books! :)
