Disappointed in the carousing and carefree ways of his three sons, aging ranch owner Angus McKettrick makes a declaration: The first of them to marry and produce an heir will be in charge of the massive spread. None of the three want to be working for his brother, particularly not Rafe, the oldest. To take orders from one of his younger siblings would be torturous. So, he requests a mail-order bride. Oh, I loved this book. I really like the western-historical romances. I am so pumped to continue the series ......
High Country Bride is the first in the McKettrick series by Linda Lael Miller. The three McKettrick sons are heirs to the Triple M ranch but must compete to earn their heritance. This first book tells the story of the endeavors, trials, and rewards of Rafe MeKettrick; the eldest of the McKettrick sons.
