Christian Hawkins was sentenced to life in prison for murder as a nineteen year old when he became involved with Katya Dekker, a senator's daughter. After being released because someone else confesses to the murder, Christian joins his old gang of car thief buddies as a special government agent. Katya Dekker and Christian Hawkins meet when he saves her from a gang of "Prom Kings". They spend an unforgetable month together falling in love. Then Kat's mother, a US senator, interferes and sends Kat out of the country and Christian is convicted of murder and sent to jail. Fastforword 13 years and Kat is back in Denver and someone wants to kill her. Christian is part of an elete US black ops group and kidnaps Kat to keep her safe. I laughed out loud several times reading this book.

What a book - i loved it. Mainly because of Hawkins he is so just so perfect. i can't remember a hero so so great.
But the story was good too and so was Kat and i liked seeing kid again i just thought it was perfect. THe cream in the car and her crying and him knowing he loved her and who could forget the elevater scene.

Much better than book one. Kat has a few too many TSTL moments for me, but Christian was just to yummy for words. I love the Nikki/Kid side story. IMO best couple of the series so far!
