4 ½ stars – Romantic Suspense
Standing In The Shadows is the second book in McKenna’s McClouds series, and I liked it better than the first book, Behind Closed Doors. So far, Conor is my favorite McCloud brother.
I loved this book as I loved the whole series. I had a bit of a problem with Connor. In the first book, Raine described the McClouds and I had a hard time trying to picture Connor as this georgeous creature that Erin would fall for. The book was not predictable.
